Veteran’s Day Assembly

The St. Patrick Knights of Columbus are hosting a Veteran’s Day Assembly Friday Nov. 11th for St. Patrick Staff, Students, Veterans and Families. All are welcome. If you plan to attend, please join us at mass at 8 a.m. and the program will follow, concluding by 10 a.m.

We are asking staff, students, and visitors to wear a patriotic (or any red/white/blue shirt of their choice) with jeans or uniform bottoms. God bless America!

November Food Drive

Each month we are focusing on one of the corporal works of mercy. For November, the students are learning about ‘Feed the Hungry & Give Drink to the Thirsty’. As a part of this month’s work of mercy, we are supporting the Knights of Columbus November Food Drive by collecting food items listed below! Our goal is to get 10 of each item… Can you help? Tootsie Roll Sales

St. Patrick School Families have the opportunity to sell Tootsie Rolls for the annual Knights of Columbus fundraiser. The money raised goes to individuals with special needs and Villa Marie School.

If your family would like to participate, please send $25.00/box to the school office requested by Monday Nov. 21st . You may then sell the Tootise Rolls at your convenience for $0.50/each!

Home and School Corner

The Home and School Association held their November meeting on Wednesday Nov. 2nd. The next board meeting is scheduled for Dec. 7th.

HSA is in need of a volunteer to serve on the HSA board as Vice President and Secretary. The primary responsibility of Vice President is to attend monthly meetings on the 1^st Wednesday of the month, organize volunteers for the fish fry fundraiser, and assist the President as needed. The Vice President will take over for the president when the president’s 2 year term is over. Pius X Casino Night Fundraiser

The Pius X Band is hosting a fundraiser, Casino Night, on Saturday, Nov. 5 from 7-9 pm in the Pius X High School gym. Admission is $25, and you will receive $2,000 of play money for the games. At the end of the night, your winnings will be cashed out for tickets to our fantastic raffle. Games include craps, roulette, poker and blackjack, as well as bingo. All ages are welcome! Dealers will be ready to teach you any of the games.

Popcorn and water will be provided. Visitors may bring their own non-alcoholic drinks.

Pius X Dance Team Camp

The Pius X Thunderette’s are hosting our annual dance camp on January 14th.
The campers will perform at a varsity boys basketball game on Tuesday, January 17th. The game starts at 7:30! Thunderette’s and kids performing will meet in the commons at 7:45!
Camp will cost $35 this includes a t-shirt, game admission, and snacks! Payment must be brought to Pius before January 1st.
