COVID Response Updates

Thank you for your efforts in sending children to school with their masks and understanding that we are doing our best to comply with local health guidelines while trying to ensure that schools feels as ‘normal’ to the children as possible.  Everyone is doing a GREAT job despite the changes and sacrifices that are being made!

Updates:  The teachers and staff have being doing a great job adjusting the protocol that we had in place when we find that it can be improved, or won’t work as we thought.  One example is mass seating.  On paper it looked great, but once the children were in mass it felt a little too close.  This week the teachers have been adjusting the seating so that we can all be in mass together, but maximize the space that we have.  Thank you teachers for your efforts!

  • All masks are to be 2 layers (not a change – but a reminder of the policy)
  • Valve masks are NOT allowed unless they are layered with a cloth or disposable mask
  • Neck gaiters are allowed IF the material is doubled up
  • Drinking fountains are closed – students are welcome to bring a water bottle of their choosing (24 oz. or less is preferred)
