Cold/ Allergy Symptoms in School
A big thank you to all families for your continued efforts to help keep our school staff and students healthy. Student and staff health has always been a priority at St. Patrick School and we are so thankful we can continue to ensure a healthy work and learning environment for all!
If a student has a cough that cannot be suppressed by water or cough drops, they will be asked to visit the office for a health check. Students will be offered water and/or a cough drop. We will monitor in the office for 10-15 minutes and if they continue to frequently cough we will request a parent pick up and ask that they remain home until their cough is under control OR a doctor has confirmed that they can return to school. If the child needs cough-suppressant medication or rest we want them at home so they are able to be properly cared for.
If you have taken your child to the doctor for any health related issues, we ask that you provide a note from the doctor approving their return to school. You are also encouraged to share a negative covid test if your doctor recommended one.
Students are not to attend school if they have had an illness associated with fever or orally communicable condition such as vomiting, diarrhea, pink eye, etc. Children must be symptom free for 24 hours before returning to school.
As with anytime your child is not going to be at school, we ask that you call and notify us before 9:00am. St.PatrickLincolnSchool@cdolinc.net

If you don’t already pray as a family – this is a simple way to get started.
