Picture Day – Monday September 13th
Order forms will come home with proofs in 10-14 days. NO payment or orders due at this time.
• EVERY child will have their picture taken and be featured in the yearbook and complimentary class composite
• Absent students will have their picture taken on retake day – Monday Oct. 4th
Dress Code:
• Students are more than welcome to wear their school uniform for pictures!
OR
• Uniform Bottoms with a dress-up top
• Girls may wear dresses with leggings/ shorts underneath.
• NO dress shoes please – sneakers/ tennis shoes only
• Girls – please wear a cover up if your dress does not have sleeves
• Students will be going out to recess and eating lunch in whatever they wear for the day

After School Club Sign Up
We are offering 3 after school clubs this fall. Click the link below to register before Sunday September 19th.
Craft Club – Grades 1/2 & 3/4. Led by Sr. Deanna. Meets in the school library alternating Wednesdays from 3:30-4:15. $5 supply fee for each child. Limited to 10 students for each section.
Science Club – Grades 6-8. Led by Mrs. Hartmann – Meets in the science lab Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30.
Cooking Club – Grades 4-8. Led by Mrs. Sisco – Meets in the school kitchen 1st Tuesday of the month from 4:15-5:30. $5 supply fee for each child. Limited to 15 students.

St. Patrick School Family of the Day
Beginning in September, we will be praying for a St. Patrick School Family each day. The School Family of the Day will be listed on our Lunch + Events Calendar. As a school we will pray for the School Family of the Day after mass, and we ask your family at home to include the St. Patrick School Family of the Day in your family prayer. If you don’t already pray as a family – this is a simple way to get started.

CK Sisters Outdoor Fall Workday
CK Sisters Outdoor Fall Workday – Sat., Oct. 16, 1:30-4:30 p.m. We will be planting shrubs and trees, cleaning up our vegetable garden and cutting trees. Helpful items to bring include shovels, work gloves, wheelbarrows, pickups and chainsaws. Children are also welcome – and can use this for service hours! Mark your calendars now and contact Sister Mary Angela at sr.mary-angela@cdolinc.net if you would like to come and help. Villa Regina Motherhouse, 4100 SW 56th St., about 2 miles west and south of Pioneers Park. (Walk-ins also welcome.)
Pro-Life Banquet
The Nebraska Catholic Conference is excited to invite you to the 2021 Bishops’ Pro-Life Banquet and Conference on September 17th and 18th, respectively. This is a unique opportunity to network with pro-lifers across the state, identify opportunities for collaboration, and to meet pro-life rockstars like Archbishop Naumann. This September, let us lift you up with prayer, arm you with information on breaking pro-life issues, and joyfully celebrate the Gospel of Life with you! Pumpkin Run
The Pumpkin Run takes place on September 26th @ Canopy Street, Railyard, Lincoln NE. To register, you can visit their website https://www.pumpkinrunlincoln.com/ and sign up there! If you do sign up, please list St. Patrick as your school and they will drop the packet off here and Mr. Mackling can make sure they go home with your child. We have had kiddos take part in it every year and they seem to have a very good time with it!

Lincoln Mothers on a Mission
LINCOLN MOTHERS ON A MISSION (MOMs) will be meeting Saturday, September 4th @ 8:30 am for a presentation by Lincoln’s Sidewalk Advocates for Life team. The meeting will take place at the pro-life center, 5632 S 48th St, Lincoln, NE. Lincoln MOMs is a group of Catholic mothers searching for fellowship, hope, & joy in our ever-changing vocation. Box Tops are going digital! You can download the app Box Tops for Education, register and select St Patrick School, and then scan eligible receipts containing Box Tops products. Online retailers that are eligible: Instacart, Jet.com, SamsClub.com, Shipt, Target.com, Target Pick-Up/Drive-Up, Walmart Grocery, Walmart.com.
Traditional Box Tops are being phased out and are still eligible to be clipped and dropped off at school until they expire. You can also double dip during this transitional phase by both clipping the Box Tops and scanning the receipts!
(Some brands are not yet participating in the digital program and these will need to be clipped as usual including Hefty, Kleenez, Progresso, Reyolds, Scott, Ziploc and Finish)
