St. Patrick Festival Raffle

All festival raffle tickets, sold and unsold, need to be turned in by Wednesday, March 10 or dropped off at the rectory by March 13, which is the date of the drawing.  The class that sells the most tickets will get ice cream!  Each ticket costs $2.00 and the proceeds will help St. Patrick Parish.  Thanks for your support!

The person who sells the winning ticket for the grand prize ($2,000) will receive $100 so please write their names on the tickets they sell!  Thank you for help in making this important event/ fundraiser a success!!


Spring Program – Save The Date!

We are hopeful to hold an in-person Spring program this year!  We won’t know specifics for certain until later in April – but until then – save the date for the St. Patrick Spring Program – Wednesday May 12th – 7 pm.  (A virtual program will be available as an alternative if needed…)


March 8th – Shorts season!

Due to forecasted warm temps – students may wear shorts and skirts/skorts without leggings beginning March 8th.  Please take the time to try on shorts / skirts and ensure they are the proper length.  Shorts and skirts should be no more than 2″ above the knee with no exterior pockets.  Girls with open-bottom skirts are to wear shorts under their skirt. Praise God for this beautiful weather!!!


Dine Out Night – Honest Abe’s

Join us for Dine Out Night! Dine in or carry out at Honest Abe’s on Monday, March 15th from 5 to 8 pm on 27th and Cornhusker. 

 Mention St. Patrick’s to have 10%of sales come back to the school. See you there!


Uniform Orders

We are opening the uniform online store for a spring sale!  Check out the new long-sleeve t’s and the lightweight jackets – perfect for spring!  The online store will close Sunday March 7th.  https://stores.inksoft.com/st_patrick_catholic_school

Food Market

Catholic Social Services (CSS) has partnered with the Food Bank of Lincoln to provide healthy choice options for our school families at no cost!

The CSS Food Market Truck will be here Tuesday March 16th at pick up.   They usually have frozen meat along with other fresh/ healthy options for families.


Good Shepherd & Shamrock Fund Scholarships

The Good Shepherd Scholarship application for the 2021-22 school year is open.  Families who qualify will pay only $270/ year for each child enrolled.  Please call the finance office if you have any questions or need any help with the application process (402) 466-2752.  Additionally, Shamrock Fund scholarships are available to families who do not qualify for the Good Shepherd Scholarship.  Over 90% of our school families qualify for a scholarship – click HERE to begin your application!

Lincoln MOMs

LINCOLN MOTHERS ON A MISSION (MOMs) will be meeting Saturday, March 6th @ 8:30 am. “Rekindling Your Love: Understanding the Role of Emotional Intimacy in Physical Intimacy” with Dr. Alexandra Marcotte.  Lincoln MOMs is a group of Catholic mothers searching for fellowship, hope, & joy in our ever-changing vocation. Monthly meetings are held every first Saturday, 8:30-10:30 am at the Newman Center, St. Thomas Aquinas Church located at 320 N. 16th Street. Box Tops are going digital! You can download the app Box Tops for Education, register and select St Patrick School, and then scan eligible receipts containing Box Tops products. Online retailers that are eligible: Instacart, Jet.com, SamsClub.com, Shipt, Target.com, Target Pick-Up/Drive-Up, Walmart Grocery, Walmart.com.

Traditional Box Tops are being phased out and are still eligible to be clipped and dropped off at school until they expire. You can also double dip during this transitional phase by both clipping the Box Tops and scanning the receipts!

(Some brands are not yet participating in the digital program and these will need to be clipped as usual including Hefty, Kleenez, Progresso, Reyolds, Scott, Ziploc and Finish)

SCRIP

What is Scrip? “Scrip” turns everyday shopping into cash for the St. Patrick Church and School. Purchase gift cards at face value in advance to use at checkout, instead of paying with credit, debit card, check or cash.

How Does It Work? Purchase gift cards at face value from local merchants who designate their own discount percentage ranging from 1.5% to 30%. The discount amount translates to profit for the St. Patrick!

  • $50 Raising Canes gift card at 30% = $15.00 St. Patrick profit
  • $50 Marcus Theatres gift card at 8% = $4 St. Patrick profit
