Back to School Night

Please plan to attend the school kickoff open house on Wednesday August 14th
     5:30 – Holy Day Vigil Mass
6:30-8:00 – Classrooms Open

  • Drop off school supplies in the classroom & meet the teachers
  • Socialize with school families and celebrate the start of a new year!
  • Photobooth in atrium + Parents are welcome to take photos of children at their desk or with their teacher at this event
  • The office will be open to drop off paperwork & lunch money.
  • FREE Kona Ice for St. Patrick School families!

1st Day of School

We are so so excited to welcome the children on the 1st Day of School Friday August 16th.  All teachers will be outside to greet your children.  Homeroom teachers will have balloons labeled with their class.

Teachers will head inside with their class just before 8 a.m.  Parents will remain outside, but are welcome to join us for 9:30 mass for the 1st day of school.

Free & Reduced Lunch Application

Please return and complete the Free and Reduced lunch application you will receive at Back to School Night.  The more families that qualify, the more resources we receive from local and federal supports.  Free and Reduced Lunch Forms are due by Friday September 2nd.

If your child takes hot lunch, milk or salad only, or opts for 2nds, you will be billed accordingly.  You may pay the school or finance office directly, or set up a MySchoolBucks account – https://www.myschoolbucks.com.  Please use your child’s birthday (not school ID) to enroll.  If you have questions about lunch billing, please contact our finance office (402) 466-2752


Uniform Orders

  • Art FX Orders are IN – please pick up during office hours or on Back to School Night!
  • The fall Art FX Orders open Friday August 9th and close Sunday September 15th – orders should be available for pick up at Parent/ Teacher Conferences in October.
    • Shop HERE starting Friday August 9th
  • Gently used uniforms will be available for families in the new uniform room during school hours. Used uniforms will also be available at Back to School Night.

Registration for summer camps at Pius X is now open. All camp and summer workout information is subject to change. The costs listed are for early registration. Costs may increase after the registration deadline. Some camps offer a discount for a family that is registering more than one child. For more details, please contact the coach for each camp. SCRIP

What is Scrip? “Scrip” turns everyday shopping into cash for the St. Patrick Church and School. Purchase gift cards at face value in advance to use at checkout, instead of paying with credit, debit card, check or cash.

How Does It Work? Purchase gift cards at face value from local merchants who designate their own discount percentage ranging from 1.5% to 30%. The discount amount translates to profit for the St. Patrick!

  • $50 Marcus Theatres gift card at 8% = $4 St. Patrick profit
  • $100 Walmart gift card at 2.% = $2.50 St. Patrick profit

Purchase SCRIP before shopping by filling out this form and turning it into the parish office or call in your order to the rectory at 402.466.2752 and we can prepare your order ahead for you. SCRIP can  also be purchased at the parish office or after weekend masses.

We’re excited to share that our school is participating in Cash for Classrooms, part of Casey’s Rewards. This opens up St. Patrick School to new funding opportunities to help improve learning environments for students.
The best part? Donations don’t come out of your own pocket. When you buy from Casey’s and use their rewards program you can simply turn your points into a donation to our school.

Box Tops are now digital only! You can download the app Box Tops for Education, register and select St Patrick School, and then scan eligible receipts containing Box Tops products. Online retailers that are eligible: Instacart, Jet.com, SamsClub.com, Shipt, Target.com, Target Pick-Up/Drive-Up, Walmart Grocery, Walmart.com.

Traditional Box Tops are being phased out and we are no longer receiving enough to mail in so please direct your efforts towards the digital app. Thank you to everyone who has contributed box tops over the years!
