Catholic Schools Week Celebration

Soup Supper:  The annual St. Patrick School Grab n’ Go Soup Supper will take place on Friday, February 2 from 5:30-7:00pm in the social hall.   Thank you for your support!

Family Entertainment:  Enjoy a family friendly show at 5:30 in the gym! Toby Kid will be presenting the comedic program, ‘Friendship Adventures’ at 5:30 in the gym.  The students might remember his hilarious pirate show last year – we can’t wait to have him back!

Conference Sign Ups

Parent / Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Tuesday Feb. 13 and Thursday Feb. 15.  All families are asked to sign up for a time to meet with the homeroom teacher.  If you do not sign up for a time, one will be scheduled for you.  We typically have 100% participation.

Parent / Teacher Conferences are a great experience – the teachers truly look forward to meeting with you!  Click the link below to schedule your conference time…

If you are signing up on a computer – you have to click ‘Got it’ at the bottom-right of your screen before you can Submit (this is a change made by Sign Up Genius)
Jr. High conferences should be scheduled with the homeroom teacher ONLY.  Jr. High teachers will be available for walk-in conferences for non-homeroom families during their open slots.

Holy Moments

Volunteer to do a task for someone. Everyone needs a little bit of help sometimes…and giving them that help is a great Holy Moment! Take a minute now to think about a small task at home or in school that you could help with. Imagine what might happen if you stepped up and offered to help! Remember, some moments are holy. Some moments are unholy. And you decide!

Tips to Create This Holy Moment:
– Ask your child how they like to help out in their classroom.
– Surprise someone in your family by completing one of their chores.
– Get up early and make breakfast for someone in your family.

Retirement/ Teacher Opening

Mrs. Neujahr has announced she will be retiring at the end of this school year.  We have been so blessed having Mrs. Neujahr as a part of our school family and look forward to celebrating her as we get closer to the end of the school year.  Due to Mrs. Neujahr’s retirement, we will be looking for a teacher for 4th grade for 2024-25.  If you know of someone who would be a great fit at St. Patrick School – have them email Kristine-Placek@cdolinc.net to learn more!

Fundraisers

SCRIP

What is Scrip? “Scrip” turns everyday shopping into cash for the St. Patrick Church and School. Purchase gift cards at face value in advance to use at checkout, instead of paying with credit, debit card, check or cash.

How Does It Work? Purchase gift cards at face value from local merchants who designate their own discount percentage ranging from 1.5% to 30%. The discount amount translates to profit for the St. Patrick!

  • $50 Marcus Theatres gift card at 8% = $4 St. Patrick profit
  • $100 Walmart gift card at 2.% = $2.50 St. Patrick profit

Purchase SCRIP before shopping by filling out this form and turning it into the parish office or call in your order to the rectory at 402.466.2752 and we can prepare your order ahead for you. SCRIP can  also be purchased at the parish office or after weekend masses.

We’re excited to share that our school is participating in Cash for Classrooms, part of Casey’s Rewards. This opens up St. Patrick School to new funding opportunities to help improve learning environments for students.
The best part? Donations don’t come out of your own pocket. When you buy from Casey’s and use their rewards program you can simply turn your points into a donation to our school.
Help St. Patrick School make the most of this program and learn more at Caseys.com/schools.
