Extended Care Pricing Update

Dear Parents,

Effective January 1, 2022 there will be an increase in the Extended Care rate.  The 15 minute increments will go from $.90 to $1.00.  However, you will receive a 10% discount on your bill for the rest of this school year.  St. Patrick has received a federal grant toward the cost of Extended Care which will help offset the cost of the rate increase.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

Wishing you a joyous Christmas and New Year filled with blessings.

God bless,
Father Schweiger

Hair, Facial Hair and Fingernail Reminder

Please help your child to be in compliance with the following dress code policy reminders.  Positivity at home regarding the policy can greatly help with acceptance from the children.  The teachers and staff hope to keep their focus on spiritual and academic growth and not on having to police the dress code.

A school dress code creates a level playing field among students, reducing peer pressure and bullying.  I think we can all agree that we do not want to encourage any peer pressure or bullying regarding appearance at St. Patrick School.

  • No make up, fake nails (salon or press on), or nail polish
  • Hair should be a natural color and neatly kept
  • Boys must be clean shaven

Mask Mandate Lifted

The LLCHD has lifted the mask mandate in the city of Lincoln.  At St. Patrick School we will recommend, but not require, masks in all indoor areas and have included that in our updated policy located here: Health Updates | St Patrick’s Catholic School

We continue to be incredibly thankful to the families who are noting symptoms and keeping children at home or electing to test for covid when needed.  It is through your efforts that we are able to keep our policy as it is.  As we would do any school year, please continue to be mindful of the school community when students have any symptoms of illness that may impact the health of their teachers or classmates.

Teacher Bonus Thank You

On behalf of the St. Patrick Staff I want to extend a HUGE thank you for your generosity in contributing to the Christmas Bonus.  We know your financial contributions are coupled with prayers and are so appreciative of the support of our school community.  Spending the days with your children is a blessing to us all.  Thank you for trusting us to partner with you in their academic and spiritual growth this school year!

Fundraisers

We’re excited to share that our school is participating in Cash for Classrooms, part of Casey’s Rewards. This opens up St. Patrick School to new funding opportunities to help improve learning environments for students.
The best part? Donations don’t come out of your own pocket. When you buy from Casey’s and use their rewards program you can simply turn your points into a donation to our school.

SCRIP

What is Scrip? “Scrip” turns everyday shopping into cash for the St. Patrick Church and School. Purchase gift cards at face value in advance to use at checkout, instead of paying with credit, debit card, check or cash.

How Does It Work? Purchase gift cards at face value from local merchants who designate their own discount percentage ranging from 1.5% to 30%. The discount amount translates to profit for the St. Patrick!

  • $50 Marcus Theatres gift card at 8% = $4 St. Patrick profit
  • $100 Walmart gift card at 2.% = $2.50 St. Patrick profit
